Gediminas Gelgotas has become a member of the world's second largest international organization uniting young
and active people, JCI (Junior Chamber International), and a lecturer in its program School of Success.
Gediminas delivers seminars on leadership, devotion to art and ability to work following one's inner motivation
for young Lithuanian musicians.

Gediminas Gelgotas' New Ideas' Chamber Orchestra NICO had a successful performance at its first concert tour in Russia. It gave four concerts in Russia's major cities - Moscow and Saint Petersburg. The concerts were delivered on the occasion of the Coronation Day of King Mindaugas, July 6. The orchestra received a number of various invitations for concerts in the following year.

Gediminas has been awarded an acknowledgement of Lithuanian
Prime Minister for successful creative activity and spreading the name of Lithuania. August 22th, 2006
Gediminas became a diplomant in an international pianist contest
Music Without Boarders in Druskininkai (Lithuania).
July 16th, 2006
Gediminas became a laureate in the International
Piano Competition Premio virtuosite in Italy. He performed works by:
Bach-Bussoni, Scarlatti, Čiurlionis, Rachmaninov,
Prokofjev.
